For over 20 years, Lisa Rysinger has owned VIDE Productions, Inc., a small production company specializing in digital media, where she created everything from corporate training videos to TV commercials. She was an early adopter of digital video technology and considered an expert in the field, authoring several books on the topic, designing college curriculums, and teaching at area colleges.
After the birth of Lisa's daughter, she transitioned into screenwriting. She still does select projects in digital media when time permits. Lisa specializes in the Action/Adventure and Thriller genres. She is the organizer of South Jersey Screenwriters, a local meetup group where she lectures on the craft of screenwriting.
Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television, & Film and a master’s degree in Writing from Rowan University, where she graduated with honors and teaches periodically as an adjunct professor. She also conducts group lectures and seminars in communications and technology. She has been featured in numerous interviews, including articles in the Philadelphia Inquirer and the New York Times.
Lisa is also active in her community. She serves on the Economic Development Council for Harrison Township, chairs fundraisers for the Harrison Township Historical Society, and volunteers for a national nonprofit, The LuMind Research Down Syndrome Foundation. In addition to writing, film, and technology, she enjoys yoga, international travel, and gourmet cooking.
